Integrations Engineer
Location: London, UK
Reports to: Technical Sales Engineer
Language Requirements: English
The Opportunity
At Easee, we're building technology that makes electrification effortless. Our products are used across Europe, and our success depends on attracting people who share our ambition, curiosity, and commitment to great results.
This is a new role within Energy Services, created to give us dedicated technical integration capability as the number and complexity of our partner integrations grows. As our Integration Engineer, you'll support the technical implementation, onboarding, and ongoing operation of partner integrations, acting as the technical bridge between our Technical Sales Engineers, Customer Excellence, Product, and Development.
This is a technical role, not a sales one. You won't be expected to be an expert across every integration technology from day one but you'll need strong technical curiosity, analytical thinking, and a genuine willingness to learn. As your experience grows, so will the complexity of the integrations and partner requirements you own.
What's in it for you
Work in the rapidly developing EV and energy technology sector.
Exposure to APIs, OCPP, cloud-connected hardware, and a genuinely international partner ecosystem including CPOs, CPMS providers, energy and flexibility partners, and fleet and mobility providers
A varied, hands-on technical role where every partner integration is a different problem to solve, with a clear path to grow into a recognized integrations specialist
Work alongside a team where you can develop your knowledge and take on increasing technical responsibility.
As your experience develops, there will be opportunities to take ownership of more complex integrations and projects.
Core Outcomes
Short-term
You're providing Technical Sales Engineers with timely, effective support on integration-related questions.
You're a clear escalation route for Customer Excellence on complex integration issues.
You've built a strong working knowledge of Easee's APIs, OCPP, and our partner integration processes.
You’ve helped define/establish self service partner onboarding flows.
You’ve improved the developer documentation.
You’ve built working good working relationships with our key integration partners.
You’ve become the primary support contact for some of the key partners.
Long-term
You're a recognized integration subject-matter expert resource for both internal and external audiences.
More integration issues get investigated and resolved within the team, without unnecessary escalation to development.
Your feedback on recurring issues and partner requirements is shaping how product and development prioritize fixes and work on new features.
Partner integration and onboarding is faster and more consistent because of the documentation and process improvements you've driven.
What you need to bring along
Technical, engineering, software, computer science, or equivalent education — relevant practical experience or demonstrable technical ability can compensate for formal qualifications.
Some experience in a technical, software, support, engineering, or integration environment; experience with APIs, connected devices, or software integrations is a plus.
A basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and JSON; familiarity with API testing tools like Postman. WebSockets and OAuth2 experience is a bonus. Knowledge of OCPP is advantageous but not required.
Experience in EV charging or energy is a plus, not a requirement.
A curious, analytical, methodical approach to problem-solving — comfortable investigating issues where the answer isn't immediately obvious.
Strong communication skills — able to translate technical issues clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
A collaborative mindset and comfort working across teams and with external partners.
