Senior Embedded Developer
Location: Stavanger
Reports to: Embedded Lead
Language Requirements: English
The Opportunity
At Easee, we're building technology that makes electrification effortless. Our products are used across Europe, and our success depends on attracting people who share our ambition, curiosity, and commitment to great results.
As our Senior Embedded Developer, you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining embedded software for both our existing and upcoming products. This role goes beyond writing code — you'll mentor others, improve processes, and influence the architecture decisions that shape the future of our EV chargers.
Working closely with Hardware, Software, PMO, and Product, you'll help make sure our solutions are reliable, scalable, and genuinely built around the customer. It's a chance to dive deep into complex embedded systems while helping drive Easee's mission of making electrification effortless.
What's in it for you
Take part in developing our next-generation EV chargers, working alongside some of the experts behind one of the world's best-selling EV chargers
Real influence over architecture decisions that bring hardware and software together
What you will do
You'll be a core part of the Embedded Team, working on firmware that powers products already in the field and products that are still taking shape.
What you need to bring along
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Relevant hands-on experience can compensate for formal education.
Experience with embedded systems in C/C++.
A team-oriented mindset — a strong collaborator with a positive, supportive attitude.
Genuine curiosity about new technology and how it solves real customer problems.
A solution-driven approach — you see challenges as opportunities to learn and improve.
Core Outcomes
Short-term
You're a confident, active contributor to firmware development on both existing and upcoming EV charger products.
Your code and fixes are stable and well-reviewed as an early proof that your technical judgment can be trusted.
You're a visible voice in planning, architecture discussions and reviews, not just executing decisions made elsewhere.
Long-term
Firmware releases across Easee's product portfolio are well-structured and increasingly predictable, thanks in part to process improvements you've driven.
Other engineers are measurably stronger because you've actively shared knowledge and mentored them.
Architecture decisions for new and existing chargers are shaped by your input, weighing hardware and software trade-offs together.
Product and process improvements ship because you spotted the opportunity and followed through — not because someone had to ask.
