Senior Software Engineer - Cyber Security
Work Location: Oslo, Stavanger, or Tønsberg
Reports to: Platform Infrastructure Lead
Language Requirements: English required. Norwegian is a nice-to-have.
Purpose of the Role
At Easee, we're building technology that makes electrification effortless. Our products and solutions are used across Europe, and our success depends on attracting talented people who share our ambition, curiosity, and commitment to delivering great results.
As a Security Platform Engineer at Easee, you will be a builder. This is a dedicated, security engineering function - an opportunity to shape how a fast-scaling company thinks about security from the ground up.
You will embed security into the foundation of how we ship software: designing the guardrails, identifying vulnerabilities, and making secure practices the natural default for every developer at Easee. Working closely with our software team and our external security partners, you will translate regulatory requirements into concrete controls baked directly into our internal developer platform.
Our platform already serves over 1 million devices and processes billions of IoT events and API requests every day. Your work will have real, immediate impact at scale.
Who are we:
Easee is a Norwegian technology company with a clear purpose: Effortless Electrification for All.
We develop smart charging and energy solutions designed to make access to electrification simpler, smarter, and more scalable.
Our culture is built around three values:
Dare: We challenge assumptions and explore new possibilities.
Care: We support each other, our partners, and our customers.
Deliver: We take ownership and follow through on our commitments.
We believe great companies are built by people who combine ambition with humility, who care deeply about their work, and who are motivated by solving meaningful challenges together.

Operationalise monitoring of our current security posture to follow up on security-related events and threats
Collaborate with the team on security incident response and remediation
