The Opportunity
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Easee, you’ll play a key role in developing and industrialize EV charging products, contributing to the mechanical design of integrated solutions. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team where you collaborate with other engineering disciplines as well as Production and Industrial Design, to deliver robust, scalable products and solutions
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys combining technical depth with hands-on product development, particularly in the design of plastic parts for injection moulding and manufacturing. Additionally, if you want to contribute to strengthening team capabilities and best practices, we would love to hear from you!
What you will do
You will design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies, ensuring they meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements. A central part of your role will be designing plastic parts for injection moulding, working closely with tooling suppliers and participating in DFM processes to ensure manufacturability and quality.
You’ll contribute across the product lifecycle, from early-stage concept development and feasibility studies to prototyping, production, and continuous improvement of existing products. You’ll create and maintain clear, detailed engineering documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, simulations, and Bills of Materials, using modern CAD, simulation, and PLM tools. Prototyping will be a hands-on part of your work, using 3D printing and other rapid manufacturing techniques to bring new ideas to life and validate them quickly.
You will also ensure compliance with relevant standards (particularly IEC 61851 and IEC 62196), support other teams with technical expertise, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the mechanical discipline.
We believe that you are a good match if you are:
An experienced and structured engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges and delivering high-quality, manufacturable designs. You take ownership, work well both independently and in teams, and are motivated by continuous improvement.
Further we believe you to be:
Analytical and solution-oriented
Open-minded and curious in your approach to technical challenges
A strong communicator and team player
Self-driven and proactive
Quality-focused with attention to detail
What you need to bring along
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar). Relevant experience may compensate for formal education
Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience
Strong skills in 3D CAD design and 2D documentation
Experience in designing plastic parts for injection moulding
It’s a plus if you have experience with Mold Flow analysis, simulation tools, or mechatronic product design.
What’s in it for you
Take part in developing and industrializing next-generation products
Work hands-on with advanced technologies and manufacturing processes
Influence engineering practices and product quality
Collaborate with skilled colleagues across disciplines
Grow your expertise within injection moulding and product development
Competitive salary and benefits package
