The Opportunity
As a Senior Software Developer at Easee, you’ll play a central role in developing the backend services and APIs that power our users, apps, and products across Europe. You’ll be part of a skilled and passionate software team that builds scalable systems connecting millions of devices - shaping how our customers interact with the Easee ecosystem every day.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, build, and evolve core cloud services, ensuring reliability, performance, and security at every level. Working closely with product, embedded, and platform teams, you’ll help create a robust foundation that enables fast, high-quality development and outstanding user experiences.
What you will do
You’ll take ownership of developing and maintaining the cloud services and APIs that connect Easee’s smart charging ecosystem. Together with your team, you’ll design and implement new functionality, improve existing solutions, and ensure seamless interaction between connected devices, apps, and partners.
Your work will include tuning system performance, automating builds and deployments, and ensuring that services are secure, stable, and scalable. You’ll apply modern software practices such as Domain-Driven Design and Test-Driven Development, while maintaining a strong focus on reliability and developer experience. By building clean, well-documented APIs and collaborating across teams, you’ll help Easee continue to deliver world-class energy technology at scale.

You’re comfortable working with modern cloud technologies, ideally AWS, and have hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar). You write well-structured code in C# or another modern language and are familiar with concepts like Domain-Driven Design and Test-Driven Development.
An understanding of IoT protocols such as MQTT or AMQP, and how software connects with real hardware, will be a great advantage. Fluency in English is required - and if you’re curious, collaborative, and driven by purpose, you’ll feel right at home here.
