Senior Manufacturing Engineer

The opportunity
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Easee, you will play a pivotal role in turning innovative product designs into scalable, cost-efficient, and high-quality production. Acting as the link between our R&D team, Engineering disciplines and external manufacturing partners (EMS), you will ensure that our products are designed for manufacturability and industrialized seamlessly for global markets.
This role gives you the opportunity to work hands-on with both prototypes and high-volume manufacturing, leading efforts in process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement. Your expertise will be key to ensuring Easee’s products meet stringent quality standards and to turning innovative designs into reality.
What you will do
- Partner with R&D to influence product design for manufacturability, assembly, and automation.
- Lead industrialization activities from prototype to volume production with our EMS partners.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, driving automation, testing, and traceability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Quality, Sourcing, and suppliers to ensure smooth product launches.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, using data and quality tools to increase yield and efficiency.
- Support regulatory compliance and certification efforts through robust process design.
- Provide clear process documentation and knowledge transfer to production partners.

What you need to bring along:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or similar). Extensive and relevant work experience may compensate for the requirement of formal education.
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Experience with new product introduction (NPI), industrialization, and scaling production.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality tools (FMEA, RCA, SPC).
- Experience with automation, tooling, and process validation.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian.
Bonus if you have a background in electronics manufacturing (PCB assembly, wiring, enclosures, power electronics).
