The opportunity

As a Senior Embedded Software Developer at Easee, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining embedded software for both our existing and upcoming products. You will not only contribute with your technical expertise but also with your ability to mentor others, improve processes, and influence architecture decisions that shape the future of our EV chargers.

Working closely in cross-functional teams with Electronics, Cloud, Manufacturing & Test, and Product, you will ensure that our solutions are reliable, scalable, and customer-centric. This role is an opportunity to both dive deep into complex embedded systems and help drive Easee’s mission of making electrification effortless.

With your expertise, you will directly impact the performance of our products and help us expand further into international markets.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++ for Easee’s product portfolio.
• Contribute to well-structured software releases by following and improving team processes.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing by collaborating with peers, exchange knowledge, and helping to grow the team's technical skills. Act as a mentor to junior colleagues and contribute to internal training programs.
• Cooperate with Product, Customer Excellence, and other stakeholders to gather input for improvements and new features.
• Participate in backlog reviews, engineering planning, and architecture discussions.
• Suggest and implement improvements to products and processes.

What you need to bring along:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Extensive relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
• Proven experience in embedded systems development and programming in C/C++.
• Preferred: Experience with embedded Linux development.
• Experience with Git based version control systems.
• Fluent English (required); Norwegian is a plus.
