Business Development Manager

Purpose of the role:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for sourcing new hardware and software partnership opportunities, managing the initial onboarding phase, and nurturing long-term relationships with our clients, focusing primarily on Fleet Operators, CPOs, Vehicle OEMs and Dealerships, and SaaS partners. This role will play a crucial part in expanding our installed base and securing strategic partnerships to grow our market presence. With that, you will help Easee make a significant impact in the world and make electrification effortless for as many people as possible.
What you will do:
1. Sourcing New Business Opportunities:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the fleets, CPOs, Vehicle OEM & Dealerships, and SaaS partner sectors.
- Identify trends, customer pain points, and opportunities within the EV charging landscape.
- Build a pipeline of new business prospects and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.
2. Partnership Onboarding:
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring smooth integration and alignment of goals between both parties.
- Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate a seamless transition from contract signing to active partnership.
- Ensure new clients understand the full potential and capabilities of our products and services.
3. Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during the partnership, ensuring clients receive timely support and attention.
- Work closely with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
- Provide feedback and insights to help shape product offerings based on client needs and market trends.
5. Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and report on sales activities, client interactions, and performance against KPIs.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of key accounts and new business opportunities.

What you need to be able to bring along:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in business development or sales, ideally within the EV charging, energy, or related technology sectors.
- Experience working with key sectors such as fleets, CPOs, dealerships, and SaaS partners.
- Strong understanding of the EV charging ecosystem and the broader electric vehicle market.
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with clients to create customized solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
What is desirable to have:
- Knowledge of EV charging technologies, hardware, and software solutions.
- Experience in the automotive, fleet, or energy sectors.
- A network of industry contacts within fleets, CPOs, or SaaS partners.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
