Purpose of the role:

As Head of Quality and Governance, your expertise will be instrumental in crafting strategies that seamlessly integrate quality and governance with our business objectives. Your leadership will help strengthen Easee’s position as a benchmark for reliability and accountability, supporting our purpose: Effortless electrification to all.

What you will do:

• Lead a team of specialists in Quality and Corporate Compliance, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance
• Play a key role in establishing and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) at Easee and spearhead the journey towards ISO 9001 certification, ensuring our products and processes adhere to the highest standards of quality and efficiency
• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality and governance strategy that aligns with Easee's business goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality and governance practices throughout the business
• Prepare and present quality and governance metrics to senior management and the board
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in quality management and corporate governance
• Identify compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, engaging external expertise as needed
• Together with the team, you will ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations, including the NIS2 Directive for Cyber Security, GDPR and CSRD

Your most important areas of ownership will be:

• Leading and mentoring the Quality and Compliance team to achieve strategic objectives
• Overseeing governance frameworks to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Driving the successful implementation of the QMS and achieving ISO 9001 certification
• Acting as a key advisor on quality and compliance matters, ensuring alignment with business priorities and industry requirements

What you need to be able to bring along:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A           Master’s degree is preferred
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
• Proven experience in a leadership role within quality management and/or governance
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, corporate governance principles, and regulatory requirements
• The Head of Quality and Governance doesn’t have to be an expert in all areas him/herself, but should be familiar with frameworks for governance and/or quality
• Experience with achieving ISO 9001 certification is preferred
• A strong interest in- and experience with use of systems and data to ensure efficiency, quality and consistency in our work, is required for this role
