Purpose of the role:
The analytics engineer is crucial in transforming our raw data into actionable insights. Imagine being the person that builds the bridges that connect vast data lakes of Easee's 800K connected chargers to our analytical tools. As an Analytics Engineer, you ensure that data flows seamlessly and efficiently, creating robust pipelines that deliver clean, structured data ready for analysis. Your work empowers data analysts and business stakeholders to uncover trends, make informed decisions, and drive strategic initiatives.
With that, you will help Easee make a significant impact in the world and make energy scalable, affordable and available for as many people as possible.
What you will do:
- Design and Implement: Develop data models and transformations for various data domains, ensuring data is structured and accessible.
- Create Data Pipelines: Build and maintain reliable, efficient data pipelines that automate the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data.
- Collaborate: Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the data infrastructure supports analytical needs.
- Support and Review: Assist team members with data engineering and analytics tasks, providing peer reviews and technical support.
- Ensure Quality: Implement best practices for data quality and consistency, ensuring accurate and reliable data for analysis.
- Drive Innovation: Contribute to strategic projects that have a significant impact on the business, enabling data-driven decision-making.

What you need to bring along:
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices, with hands-on experience in SQL (preferably Spark/Databricks) and Python.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in data engineering or analytics engineering, with demonstrated experience in IoT data processing and analytics.
- Tool Proficiency: Proficient in data visualization using BI tools, version control with Git (preferably GitHub), and public cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Desirable Skills: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions), and managing access using AWS IAM.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality and reliable data solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Team Collaboration: Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
