Sourcing Specialist

Language Requirements: Norwegian and English
Purpose of the role:
Together with the team, you'll make sure we have the right suppliers to deliver our products in the right quantities, which then find their way to our valued partners and end users.
With that, you will help Easee make a significant impact in the world and make energy scalable, affordable and available for as many people as possible.
What you will do:
As our next sourcing specialist you will be the one securing that our warehouses are supplied with the right products so that we meet customer orders and sales forecasts.
An important part of the role is maintaining clear communication with our delivery and sales teams, providing them with timely updates on inventory status and delivery schedules. You will get the opportunity to take ownership of improving and automating the communication flow by setting up dashboards, improving systems etc.
Ensuring that our warehouse has the products we need - is not something you can do without collaborating with our suppliers. You will therefore play a key role in building and developing strong relationships with them, while also making sure that the products meet our quality and other standards.
You will perform supplier due diligence and conduct regular audits. You will also find and qualify new suppliers in our supply chain to meet customers’ demands or to be able to deliver new products.

Your most important areas of ownership will be:
- Process improvement - continuously assess and improve purchasing and inventory management processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product availability
- Supplier management - develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and conduct regular audits and supplier due diligence, to ensure high-quality product sourcing and compliance with agreed standards.
- Cross departmental coordination - serve as the primary liaison between teams like sales and delivery, and proactively communicate inventory and delivery updates to keep all relevant teams informed.

Inventory management - making sure that we have optimal inventory levels in all our warehouses across Europe to meet sales forecasts and customer orders.
We believe that you are a good match if you:
- have a high attention to details and a structured work method. You understand the significance of precision in capturing and recording correct data to maintain accurate inventory and supplier information.
- bring with you a problem solving attitude. Unexpected challenges can often arise, but your proactive and curious nature will be key to tackle any tasks and find solutions to unforeseen issues.
- communicate in a way that ensures all parties are aligned and informed. You understand that the role includes a lot of internal and external stakeholders, and that good communication is essential for successful coordination and negotiation.
What you need to be able to bring along:
2 - 5 years experience with sourcing and procurement processes.
Strong system understanding and experience with working in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Some experience with data analysis and a big interest in learning and developing in this field. Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBi/Tableau etc.) is a plus, but not a must.
