Purpose of the role:

To inspire and lead a talented team of embedded developers, empowering them to reach their full potential. As an Embedded lead, you will be instrumental in creating a collaborative, innovative environment where each team member can excel. You’ll set a clear direction for the team, align development efforts with company goals, and ensure they have the support and resources needed to achieve outstanding results. Your leadership will be key in driving progress and fostering a culture of growth and excellence within the team.

With that, you will help Easee make a significant impact in the world and make energy scalable, affordable and available for as many people as possible.

Your most important areas of ownership:

Be a caretaker for a team of highly skilled developers and engineers.

Through close collaboration with product managers and other departments, ensure the team follows the company's goals and visions and sets the right priorities in development work.

Ensure the team has the necessary skills and capacity, through training and recruitment.

Hold personnel responsibility, which at Easee means motivating, coaching, and developing employees.

Develop and oversee workflows and processes within the team, including planning, prioritizing, and delegating development tasks.

Identify areas for improvement related to workflows and processes and implement necessary measures.

Your background might include:

• Relevant higher education in technical fields, embedded software development, project management.
• Strong technical understanding and a genuine interest in acquiring knowledge at the intersection of technology and business.
• Experience in leadership and personnel responsibility.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with embedded programming C/C++, electronics, or other relevant fields.
• Experience with agile methods for product development.
